This was life changing advice for me.
Long ago, I read that whenever an engineer in Amazon has an idea for a new product/service, they are asked to start with the sales page.
I do the same thing now when I think of an idea. It doesn’t matter if it is a new service or a product idea.
And as an added bonus – I suggest you type your sales page with a simple text editor. No fancy layouts, colors, fonts etc.
This forces you to really think about why the reader would read until the end of the page.
And converting your ‘text editor sales page’ to a fancy full blown web page will usually be a piece of cake.
Also, it is a great exercise to nurture your employees into entrepreneurs.
